Computers 4 Africa encourages and enables Europe to donate used PCs to schools in Africa.
The historic connections between Europe and Africa go back thousands of years. Europe is developed and prosperous, Africa is in need and relatively poor. Today three of the top five nations in the world for personal computer ownership are in Europe, all with ownership rates above 75%, while all of the bottom five are in Africa, with ownership rates barely reaching 2%.
The European Commission shares our aim of supporting education in Africa; children are the future. We thank them for European solidarity and support.
From our Head Office in Brussels, Computers 4 Africa is spreading its PC donation initiative across this continent in order to reach the other continent with refurbished PCs for schools who cannot otherwise afford them.
