Ena Winch - Trustee

Ena Winch - Trustee Ena Winch, appointed as Trustee on 2 September 2005.

Ena moved to Maidstone when she was one year old and has been a resident ever since. Her career with Maidstone Borough Council has always involved working with people especially the disadvantaged as a carer at a local refuge for mums and their children. Even after ill health meant early retirement Ena continued in a caring role, often having people to stay in their home for extended periods. Ena has always been an active member of both the community in her neighbourhood and at her local church.

It was these core values of valuing and caring for communities at an individual level that made becoming a trustee so very exciting. Ena believes that by providing support to the team it helps the charity grow, develop and make a difference. Ena has a real pastoral interest in keeping in touch with the ongoing work of Computers 4 Africa and its achievements, she is encouraged to hear the latest news and testimonials.

Ena demonstrates her personal faith and values in a graceful way that always makes her an encouraging presence on her regular visits to visit the office.
