Keith Winch - Trustee Sep 2005 - Nov 2009

Keith WinchKeith Winch, appointed as Trustee on 2 September 2005.

Keith was born and bred in Maidstone. His early career was in public service with both Maidstone Borough Council and Kent County Council. Keith’s entrepreneurial spirit meant that as the years passed he developed his own gardening business, which thrived until his retirement. Never one to be idle, Keith’s hobbies – which included anything to do with driving – and his heart for people fully occupied his time and energies.

Keith was delighted to become a trustee, he enjoyed the ongoing involvement with the team and his personal values fitted well with the family feel of the work force at Computers 4 Africa. He could see that dreams were being achieved in schools in Africa.

Talking with his wife, Ena, after his last ever visit to the office in October 2009, Keith remarked “I have had an enjoyable, positive experience and will be sad when it ends”. Keith passed away on 6th November 2009 and we honour his memory and contribution in leaving his profile on-line.
