Greenshaw High School, Surrey, donates for a second time. As an ex-pupil at Greenshaw I’m thrilled to see that the school where I learnt the value of helping others is still reaching out into the community and beyond. Sue Buddey, Business manager, explains; “the students at Greenshaw High school have a strong commitment to recycling and initially our Green Team asked us to consider recycling our PCs, this linked to the high level of charity work the students undertake made Computers for Africa an obvious choice.”
Greenshaw hopes to impact a school who cannot afford to purchase their own equipment. Increasingly we are seeing schools in the UK make a real impact on schools and education in Africa. Our aim at C4A is to see the futures of children in Africa changed for the better. Our hope for them is that they can offset the disadvantages of large classes and poor resources with an ICT education.
