The Trustees of Computers 4 Africa have appointed David West as CEO designate with effect from 1st April 2010. David has worked in an advisory capacity with Computers 4 Africa over the past year or two and so is already very familiar with the vision & the front line aspects of the business. George Cook – retiring CEO, says that
appointing David as dedicated CEO reflects the recent rapid growth of the charity and helps strengthen our foundation for future expansion.

David's career spans the public, private & voluntary sectors. Working predominantly in Human Resources, latterly as head of function and as a Director since 2000. David's expertise is in mergers & acquisitions, management development and working in entrepreneurial start ups. He has been married to Christine for over 25 years & they have 3 sons - 1 is in employment & 2 are at University.
