Digital Pipeline working as Computers 4 Africa

Eco-friendly and cost effective alternative to chopping up old machines

Computer AssuranceHere at Computers 4 Africa we are constantly working to reach out in to the business community and progress is accelerating like never before.  We are attending regular conferences and exhibitions to spread the message of what we are all about.

Recently, Computers 4 Africa attended its first Kent 2020 Vision exhibition at the Detling showground. The day was packed with great people and full of good conversations. Many new relationships have begun and already the partnerships are starting to flow.

One of the highlights of the day was meeting Computer Assurance – An IT support firm based in Margate, Kent. Computer Assurance is a total solutions provider that is committed to providing quality IT products and services to their customers.

As an IT solutions company, Computer Assurance regularly deal with clients that have a lot of redundant IT equipment. Most of their clients would normally pay for the recycling of each unit – adding extra cost to their overheads. Here at Computers 4 Africa we firmly believe that re-use is better than recycling and were able to provide Computer Assurance with an eco-friendly and cost effective alternative to chopping up old machines.

Alex Knight from Computer assurance says...
“We are proud to announce our partnership with Computers 4 Africa. As a Leading IT support, consultancy and procurement service to companies across Kent and the UK, we understand the need for reduction in our carbon footprint and progression in IT development. We will be donating equipment from our stock and donations from our customers. Working alongside Brother we will be exchanging old printers for new ones and distributing everything to communities in Africa.”

As mentioned, Computer Assurance have agreed to pass on all replaced machines from the Brother exchange program – whereby each printer that is replaced with a new model gets given to the charity. On top of this great arrangement, Brother have also donated a brand new printer to Computers 4 Africa.

Watch this space – To officially launch the new partnership, a Margate newspaper will be running a story in the near future. On top of this, Computers 4 Africa will be sponsoring a combined advert for the two organisations.
This stands to be a long-running relationship between the two of us and we both look forward to working with each other.
