The CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition is the largest human resources conference and exhibition in the UK. Delegates include HR directors & managers and key decision makers within organisations both large and small.
Six members of the C4A team, including David our CEO travelled to Manchester tasked with spreading the C4A word. This task was made even easier as C4A were the only exhibitor of their type and a number of delegates had highlighted C4A in the pre- show guide as an exhibitor they wanted to visit.
As a bit of fun we took along an African style football, made by David in our warehouse and asked delegates to guess how many recycled carrier bags had been used to make the football, the prize for the winning guess was a Netbook.
Initial thoughts are that the exhibition was a huge success for C4A, giving us the opportunity to tell 100’s of key people about C4A and how working with us offers an environmentally friendly cost effective solution to IT disposal whilst changing the lives of African children for the better . In the short term each delegate who gave us their contact details will be personally contacted by a member of our Marketing Team and it is hoped that in the long term this initial contact will lead to increased numbers of donations.
